2. Products & Handmade Variations

Katjeri offers handmade jewellery, artwork, prints, accessories, commissions, and other creative products.

Due to the handmade nature of our work, slight variations in colour, texture, weave, shape, sizing, placement, timber grain, raffia fibres, brush strokes, and artwork details may occur. These variations are a natural part of handmade craftsmanship and make each piece unique. They are not considered faults or defects.

We make every effort to display product colours and details as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device settings.

We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit products at any time without notice.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices listed on this website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time and to correct any pricing errors or inaccuracies.

Payment must be completed at checkout before your order is processed or dispatched.

In the event of an incorrect price, product description, or website error, we reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order and provide a refund where applicable.

4. Custom Orders & Commissions

Commissioned artworks, custom jewellery, tattoo designs, digital artwork, and made-to-order pieces may require approval of design concepts, colours, sizing, or other details before production begins.

A deposit may be required for custom work. Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced, as time and materials are allocated specifically to your project.

Minor variations may occur between digital previews and final handmade pieces.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

Katjeri retains copyright and intellectual property rights to all commissioned artwork and designs.
Clients may not reproduce, resell, alter, distribute, or commercially use artwork without written permission.

We reserve the right to decline commission requests at our discretion.

5. Intellectual Property & Cultural Artwork

All content on this website, including artwork, designs, jewellery concepts, product names, photographs, logos, graphics, text, videos, branding, and digital content, remains the intellectual property of Katjeri unless otherwise stated.

Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, sold, or used without prior written permission.

Certain artworks, stories, symbols, and cultural elements may contain Indigenous Cultural Intellectual Property (ICIP). These cultural materials must not be reproduced, adapted, or used in any form without explicit written consent.

Unauthorised use of our artwork, branding, or designs may result in legal action.

6. Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship within Australia and New Zealand. International shipping may be available upon request.

Many items are handmade or printed to order. Please allow adequate processing time before dispatch. Estimated timeframes provided on the website are approximate only and may vary during collection launches, sales periods, public holidays, or busy seasons.

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout unless otherwise arranged.

Oversized artworks or stretched canvas pieces may require custom shipping quotes. Local pickup may be available upon request.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking information where available.

While we use reputable Australian shipping providers, delivery timeframes are outside of our control once parcels have been handed to the courier.

If your parcel is delayed, damaged, or lost in transit, please contact us and we will assist where reasonably possible in communicating with the courier provider.

Katjeri is not responsible for delays caused by postal services, customs, weather events, or circumstances beyond our control.

We may occasionally use recycled or reused packaging materials as part of our commitment to environmentally conscious practices.

7. Returns, Refunds & Australian Consumer Law

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind purchases.

However, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product:

is faulty or defective,
significantly differs from its description,
is unsafe,
or does not meet consumer guarantees.

If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us at tehya@katjeri.com.au within 14 days of receiving your item.

Items must not be intentionally damaged, altered, or improperly cared for.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Jewellery & Artwork Care

Our handmade jewellery and artworks should be handled with care.

To extend the life of your pieces, we recommend:

avoiding water, perfumes, oils, and harsh chemicals,
storing jewellery in a dry place,
avoiding prolonged sun exposure for artwork and prints,
handling woven or raffia pieces gently.

Normal wear and tear over time is not considered a fault.

9. Website Use

You agree not to use this website:

for unlawful purposes,
to infringe on intellectual property rights,
to distribute malicious software,
to interfere with website security,
or to misuse or copy website content.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the website where misuse occurs.
